Been a year visiting this place once every 1-3 months. It's more like a hidden gem due to its location not being prime. The staff is always very polite and engaging. It's clean and has a small stage where people can come to shows by local performers, comedy, singers, musicians, contests for kids, even held a painting class!

Just had lunch at II Saints and it was delicious. I had the hamburger all the way along with a side of green beens. The burger was dynamite. The owner came by to say hi and ask if I'd been here before which I hadn't. She said the burgers are made fresh every morning and I believe it. The green beans were seasoned perfectly.
The place wasn't very busy for lunch but I saw alot of military folks from the nearby navy base so I figured it was going to be good. Looks like the have live music on Saturday, clean comedy on Friday. If i lived on this side of town I'd certainly check it out. -

I was looking for a different place to take my date and for some strange reason II Saints Restaurant & Grill popped up. So we decided we would go to support the locals. Was greeted with a smile and was quickly seated. Not crowded at all this evening as they had live entertainment. Very nice decor and the staff was warm, welcoming and inviting. Server came to our table and explained the menu and offered to assist and answer any questions we had. We finally settled on the options pictured. Full disclosure..I will reframe from our critique until we have gone back and tried other menu items before I share an honest review thus the reason for the 3 stars. Everything looked delicious and fresh. My Date had the Fried Shrimp and Grits which was different. I had the Chicken Pasta and broccoli with a side of fried shrimp. For some strange reason, this just didn't do it for us this time. We felt something was missing. It just seems that the flavors wasn't there. The only other minor issue was server forgot to bring us our condiment (don't like to wait for things after it's brought out because I don't like my hot entree getting cold) and we felt the server didn't acknowledge us until we were done. minor tip: stay engaged with the customers. They were very sweet and nice but meh. This is it for now. Be back soon.....

Honestly, I had no idea this joint even existed. If it had not been for me missing my turn off of 103rd and travelling a smidge too far, I never would have stumbled upon this gem of an establishment. Funny how that always seems to happen to me. Luckily It was around lunchtime and I was absolutely famished from running errands all morning, so Two Saints it was.
The Look Around: Huge, expansive dining room, so large groups or families wouldn't be a problem. There's a stage area and TV up front, so I'm guessing they have nightly entertainment. I believe I saw a flyer for an 80s night during the week, so if you're aching to dress up like Sebastian Bach from Skid Row, well here's your chance. Don't forget the big hair and the eyeliner. They favor the color red here, and the furnishings are heavily reminiscent of a banquet hall, but everything is clean and spaced out enough so you're not in anyone else's bubble.
If you ask me, the best time to come is during lunch. They're lunch specials are off the hook, with nothing over $10, and the drink is included. So far, I've tried two different dishes. The Taco Excelente (Taco Salad) is one of their heavy hitters, made fresh to order, with seasoned ground beef, wild rice, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and ranch dressing. Ok, now this is just a matter of opinion, but the addition of the wild rice made the salad a scant salty for my taste. Otherwise, it was one of the best taco salads I've had, and I love that it comes with ranch. The Honey Glazed Wings are absolutely my favorite thing on the menu, and I can say this because I've come back to Two Saints regularly just for these wings. OH suuuure, I walk in with the intention of branching out and trying a burger....Nah. These wings have just the right amount of sweet to savory to crunchy to messy. Wings...fries...ranch...drink...$9.49...my new favorite thing.
I took a bunch of pics so feel free to browse before you visit. Go here, EAT here, and support this family-owned local business. 2 Saints is a perfect lunch spot for those who are "ballin' on a budget" like myself. Get the wings. You wont be sorry. Till next time fellow Yeeps, SYOY! -

Well hello hello is how we were greeted which was sweet. This little spot was awesome. We stopped on Sunday around 9 am but the they did not open until 10:30 which was fine. We wanted to wait so we just killed some time with a Walmart run. Lol. I spoke with the manager and our waitress and they are going to address the opening time listed-on this site. We were seated and the staff was extra friendly. She had great wit and took very good care of us. I had the chicken and waffles and it was delicious. I added just a touch more salt but it would be just fine as it was. I really didn't need the extra. My husband had the fish and grits and added a touch of salt to his grits but raved about the taste. We wished we would have came in Saturday evening for dinner as they host a comedian and/or live music. The portions are large and made fresh to order so be patient it's worth it. We definitely have shared this little gem with family who visits JAX frequently to stop through and we definitely plan to be back. Thank you for making our bellies happy before heading to the beach.
